. THE' AS, the Commission hr retofore recommended on Ai
zoning of the City has recommended, after hearing citi-
zens of the territory hereinafter mentioned, that that
territory will probably be restricted solely to residen-
tial purposes, and
WHEREAS, this City Council desires to cooperate
with said citizens and with said commission to accomplish
what seems to be the wishes of the property owners con-
cerned.
NOT, 'THEREFORE, BE' IT ±ESOLVFD by the City Council
of the City of Miami beach, .Florida, that the .building
Inspector and committeeman on buildings of said City are
hereby directed to issue no permit for the construction
of any building within that territory extending from--
Thirtieth Street north to the City limits, and lying
east of Indian Creek or flamingo bay, for any other pur-
pose than for a private residence , and that for the pur-
poses of this resolution,- apartment houses, hotels, sani-
tariums and hospitals shall not be construed to be resi-
dences, but shall be construed to be for commercial pur-
poses and not for residential purposes, and tip t this
Council declares its intention to aid and later to en-
force the recommendation of said Zoning Commission.
