AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
289 KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" AND THE
"DISTRICT MAPS" THERETO ATTACHED SO
AS TO PLACE CERTAIN LANDS IN "BA"
BUSINESS DISTRICT; TO PLACE CERTAIN
LANDS IN "RE" MULTIPLE-FAMILY DISTRICT,
AND TO PLACE CERTAIN LANDS IN "RC" ESTATE
DISTRICT, AS SAID DISTRICTS ARE SET FORTH
AND DEFINED IN SAID ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 289, known as the "Zoning Ordi-
nance of Miami Beach, Florida" and the "District
Maps" thereto attached, be and they are hereby
amended so as to place in and include in "BA" Business District,
as set forth and defined in said Ordinance the following des-
cribed parcels of land situate, lying and being in the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
The North One-half (N*) of Lot Four (4) ;
All of Lots Five ( ) and Six ( 6) ;
The East Sixty (60) Feet of Lot Seventeen (17) ;
The East Sixty (60) Feet of Lot Eighteen ( 18) ;
All in Block Fifty-four (54) of FISHER' S FIRST
SUBDIVISON of Alton Beach, according to the Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, at page 77,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
except that portion of said North One-half (N )
of Lot Four (4) and that portion of said Lots
Five (5) and Six ( 6) lying East of the dividing line
between Lots 8 and 9 of said Block 54, projected
Southerly;
And also
That portion of that certain strip of land _Twenty
( 20) feet wide ( formerly platted as an alley but
now vacated) which is located in Block Fifty-four
(54) of said FISHER' S FIRST SUBDIVISION of Alton
Beach, described as follows :
"Begin at the Northeast corner of Lot 6, Block
54 of Fisher' s First Subdivision of Alton Beach,
according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 2, page 77 of the Public Records of Dade County,
thence Westerly along the Northerly line
of Lot Florida;_ Block 54, of said subdivision a distance
of 268.94 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot
6; thence continue Westerly along the Northerly line
of Lot 17, Block 54, of said subdivision a distance
of 60 feet to a point; thence Northerly parallel
to the Easterly line of gaid Lot 17 a distance of
20 feet to a point on the southerly line of Lot 13,
Block 54, of the subdivison; thence Easterly along the
Southerly lines of Lots 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7,
to the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Block 54+, of said
subdivision, said corner being located on the Wester-
ly line of Collins Avenue; thence Southwesterly
along the Westerly line of Collins Avenue a distance of
20 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. "
SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 289, known as the ,"Zoning Ordinance
of Miami Beach, Florida" and the "District Maps" there-
to attached be and they are hereby amended so as to place in and
include in "RE" Multiply-Family District, as set forth and defined
in said Ordinance the following described parcels of land.situate,
lying and being in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit :
Lots Twenty-two (22) to Forty-two (42) , inclusive,
of Block One (1) of SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 28,
Page 28, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 3, That Ordinance No. 289, known as the "ioning Ordi-
nance of Miami Beach, Florida" and the District Maps"
thereto attached, be and they are hereby amended so
as to place in and include in "RE" Multiply-family District, as
set forth and defined in said Ordinance, the following de-
scribed parcels of land situate, lying and being in the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit:
Lots Twenty-nine ( 29) to Forty (4+0) , both inclusive,
of Block Three (3) , SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 28, at page 28, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
SECTION 4. That Ordinance No. 289 , known as the " Zoning Ordi-
nance of Miami Beach, Florida" and the "District
Maps" thereto attached, be and they are hereby
amended so as to place in and include in "RC" Estate District,
as set forth and defined in said Ordinance, the following
described parcel of land situate, lying and being in the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, to-wit :
Lot Twenty-eight (28) of Block Three (3) ,
SECOND OCE=-N FRONT SUBDIVISION, According
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
28, at page 28, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting a.s required by law.

that Ordinance No. 689 entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 289 KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA" AND THE "DISTRICT MAPS" THERETO ATTACHED
SO AS TO PLACE CERTAIN LANDS IN "BA" BUSINESS DISTRICT;
TO PLACE CERTAIN LANDS IN "RE" MULTIPLE-FAMILY DISTRICT,
AND TO PLACE CERTAIN LANDS IN "RC" ESTATE DISTRICT, AS
SAID DISTRICTS ARE SET FORTH AND DEFINED IN SAID ORDINANCE",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 20th day of May, A. D. , 1943, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of
the said City of Miami Beach.
