RESOLUTION NO. 580
District SR-23. SAwer Improvement SR-23.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida:
That the construction of the following described improvements
is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-23. An eight (8) inch terra cotta Sanitary Sewer and
necessary manholes and appurtenances:
In Lenox Avenue from Fourth Street to Fifth Street ;
In Michigan Avenue from Second Street to Fifth Street;
In an alleyway between Michigan Avenue and Jefferson
Avenue , from Seventh Street to Eleventh Street ;
In ah alleyway between Jefferson Avenue and Meridian
Avenue, from Seventh Street to Eleventh Street ;
In an alleyway between Euclid Avenue and Pennsylvania
Avenue, from Seventh Street to Tenth Street;
In an alleyway between Pennsylvania Avenue and Drexel
Avenue, from Tenth Street to Fourteenth ,Street ;
In Drexel Avenue from Twelfth Street to a point four -
hundred feet north of Fourteenth Street;
In Fifteenth Street from Meridian Avenue to Lenox
Avenue ;
In an alleyway in Block 42 of Bellview Subdivision,
according to Plat recorded in Plat Book 6, Pale 114,
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, from Lincoln
Road to a point three hundred Seventy feet north of
Lincoln Road;
In Lincoln Road from a point 135 feet west of Bay Road
to a point 160 feet east of {:'lest Avenue ;
In an alleyway parallel with Lincoln Road in Block 46,
Commercial Subdivision, according to plat recofded
in Plat Book 6, Page 5, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, from Alton Road easterly 160 feet
to another alleyway;
In an alleyway parallel to Lincoln Road in Blocks 38
and 39 of said Commercial Subdivision, from Alton Road
to Michigan Avenue ;
In Lincoln Road from Meridian Avenue to Jefferson Avenue;
In Jefferson Avenue from Lincoln Road to 18th Street ;
In Meridian Avenue from Lincoln Road to a point 225 feet
north of Nineteenth street;
In Washin: ton Avenue from Seventeenth Street to Nine-
teenth Street ;
In nineteenth Street from Liberty Avenue to Collins
Avenue;
In Twentieth Street from Sheridan Avenue to Collins Avenue ;
In Twenty-first Stre .,t from Sheridan Avenue to a point
325 feet east of Collins Avenue ;
In Twenty-second Street from Sheridan Avenue to Collins
Avenue ;
In Twenty-third Street from Sheridan Avenue to Liberty
Avenue ;
all as said 8tteets, Avenues, Roads and Alleyways are
shown on plats recorded as follows : Plat Book 2 at
pages 77 and 81, Plat Book 5, at pages 7 and 8, Plot Book
6, at pages 26, 114, 165 and 166, and Plat Book 7 at
Page 15 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida ;
and as said Avenues are named and designated in Ordi-
nance No. 170, recorded in Deed Book 297, Page 242, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvements,
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimate, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other
expenses necelt.t. ry and proper. This improvement shall be desig

Improvement SP-23, and the property against which assessments may be made
for the cost thereof hereunder shall be designated as Disttict
SR-23.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of March, A.D. 1924.
