RESOLUTION NO. 650
SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT SR-8 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, met on the 28th day of May, 1924, pursuant to a
notice of a meeting under bection 29 of the Charter of said
City to hear all written objections to the confirmation of
the preliminary assessment roll of Sanitary Sewer Improve-
ment SR-0, District SR-8, by any person whose property is
described in said preliminary assessment roll , which roll
was filed with said City Council on May 7th, 1924, end
WHEREAS, the City Council , having received no written
remonstrances filed to the confirmation of said preliminary
assessment roll by any person whose property is described in
said roll,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY SHE CITY COUNCIL of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the prima facie assessments
as indicated on said preliminary assessment roll be, and the
same are in all things confirmed and sustained against any
and all lots or parcels of ground described therein except as
to the following described lots against which said assessment
is modified and reduced, the amount by which said assessment
is hereby reduced being hereby charged to the City at large ,
so that the assessment shall be as follows, it being hereby
decided that the special benefits to said lots, because of
other sanitary sewer assessments being made against said lots ,
are those benefits as stated below, after such modification
and reduction:
The assessment against Lot 9 of Blocq 11 of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 1, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 3 at Page
11 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby
reduced to 459. 68, said lot being assessed for its full length
and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.

The assessment against Lot 16 of Block 12 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 1, according to the aforesaid plat , is here-
by reduced to 470.21 , said lot being assessed for its full
length and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 9 of Block 13 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 1, according to the aforesaid plat, is here- *
by reduced to 470.21, said lot being assessed for its full
length and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 32 of said
Ocean beach Addition No. 1, according to the aforesaid plat ,
are hereby reduced to 470.21 each, said lots being assessed for

said plat , are hereby reduced to 460. 25 and 463.05 respec-
tively, said lots being assessed for their full length and
their full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 12 of Block 34 of said
Ocean Beach Additon No. 1, according to the aforesaid plat,
is hereby reduced to 452. 66, said lot being ,assessed for
its full width on both its east and west frontage on said
preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 16 of Block 14 of Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2
at Page 56 of the Public itecords of Dade County, Florida,
is hereby reduced to 470. 21, said lot being assessed for
its full length and its full width on said preliminary as-
sessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 9 of Block 15 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid plat, is
hereby reduced to 470. 21, said lot being assessed for its
full length and its full width on said preliminary assess-
ment roll.
The assessment against Lot 14 of Block 16 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 465. 93, said let being assessed for its
full length and its full width on said preliminary assess-
ment roll.
The assessment against Lot 9 of Block 17 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2 , according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 472. 95, said lot being assessed for its
full length and its full width on said preliminary assess-
ment roll.
The assessment against Lot 16 of Block 16 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid plat, is
hereby reduced to 470. 21, said ldt being assessed for its

The assessment against Lot 11 of Block 19 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 470. 21, said lot being assessed for its

The assessments against Lots 1, 9, 10 and 17 of Block
26 of said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the a-
foresaid plat, are hereby reduced to 472.70, 470. 21 , 470. 21,
and 4105.43, each respectively, said lots being assessed for
their full length and their full width on said preliminary
assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 1 and 16 of Block 27 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to 470. 21 each, said lots being
assessed for their full length and their full width on said
preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 28 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the . aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to 466.28: and 065.86 respectively,
said lots being assessed for their full length and their
full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 1 and 14 of Block 29 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid
plat, are hereby reduced to 459.26 and 458.84 respectively,
said lots being assessed for their full length and their
full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 30 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to 470. 21 each, said lots being
assessed for their full length and their full width on said
preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 1 and 16 of Block 31 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 2, according to the aforesaid
plat, are hereby reduced to 070.21 each, said lots being
assessed for their full length and their full width on said
preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against the South 100 feet , between
Drexel and '+ashington Avenues, north of _block 21, being a
part of Block 20, of Ocean Beach Addition No. :i, as per plat
recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page 81 of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, is hereby reduced to 0105.32, said
tract being assessed for its full length on said preliminary
assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 8 in Griffing' s Subdivision,
as per plat recorded in Plat Book 4 at Page 122 of the Public
Records of Dade County, r'lorida, is hereby reduced to 470.2l,
said lot being assessed for its full length on said prelimi-
nary assessment roll.
The assessment against the vest 110 feet of Lots 9 and
10 of Griffing' s Subdivision, according to the aforesaid
plat , is hereby reduced to 435.11 , said tract being assessed
in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-10, District SR-10.
The assessment against Lot 8 of Block 21 of Pratt' s
Amended Resubdivision of Block 21 of Ocean Beach Addition No.
3, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 6 at Page 17 of the
Public Records of Dade County, r'lorida, is hereby reduced to
470.21 , said lot being assessed for its full length on said
preliminary assessment roll.

The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 35 of Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page
81 of the Public t{ecords of Dade County, Florida, is hereby
reduced to y 140.42, said lot being assessed for its full
length on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 36 of said
Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat ,

The assessment against Lot 12 of Block 42 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby eliminated, said lot being assessed in Sanitary Sewer
Improvement SR-10 , District SR-10
The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 43 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to ; 70.21 each, said lots being as-
sessed for their full length and their full width on said
preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 1 and 16 of Block 44 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to $70. 21 each, said lots being
assessed for their full length on said preliminary assess-
ment roll.
The assessments against Lots 7 and 8 of Block 45 of said
Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat ,
are hereby reduced to $70. 21 , said lots being assessed for
their full length on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots l and 16 of Block 46 , of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid
plat , are hereby reduced to 470.21 each, said lots being

The assessment against Lot 8 of .dock 58 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 435.11, said lot being assessed for its
full length on said preliminary assessment roll and also
for its full width in Sanitary Sewer Improvement S"-4, Dis-
trict SR-4.
The assessment against Lot 9 of Block 58 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby eliminated, said lot being assessed for its full width
on said preliminary assessment roll and also for its full
length in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4, District SR-4.
The assessments against Lots 10 to 16 inclusive of Block
58 of said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the afore-
said plat , are hereby reduced to 417.55 each, said lots being
assessed for their full width on said preliminary assessment
roll and also for their full width in Sanitary Sewer Improve-
ment SR-4, District SR-4.
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 59 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 435.10, said lot being assessed for its
full length on said preliminary assessment roll and also for
its full width in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4, District
SR-4.
The assessment against Lot 7 of Block 60 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to $35.10, said lot being assessed for its
full length on said preliminary assessment roll and also for
its full width in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-4 , District
SR-4.
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 61 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 435.10, said lot being assessed for its
full length on said preliminary assessment roll and also for
its full width in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-5, District
SR-5.
The assessment against Lot 8 of block 62 of said Ocean
Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid plat , is
hereby reduced to 435.10, said lot being assessed for its
full length on said preliminary assessment roll and also for

The assessments against Lots 8 and 9 of Block 73 of
said Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to the aforesaid
plat, are hereby reduced to 470. 21 each, said lots being

ment roll.

Cope Subdivision, according to the aforesaid plat , is

aforesaid plat , are hereby reduced to $70.70 and 0140. 91 respec-

The assessment against Lot 6 of Block 31, in said Fisher' s
First Subdivision of Alton Beach, according to the aforesaid
plat , is hereby eliminated, said lot being assessed for its
full width on said preliminary assessment roll and also for
its full length in Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-9, District
SR-9.
The assessment against Lot 7 of Block 54 in said Fisher' s
First Subdivision of Alton Beach, according to the aforesaid
plat , is hereby reduced to 06.00, said lot being assessed for
its full length and its full width on said preliminary assess-
ment roll.
The assessment against Lot 16 of Block 54 in Fisher' s
First Subdivision of Alton Beach, according to the aforesaid
plat, is hereby eliminated, said lot being assessed for its
full width on said preliminary assessment roll and also for
its full length in aanitary Sewer Improvement SR-9, District
SR-9,
The assessment against Lot 1 of Block 58 in Pine Ridge
Subdivision as per plat recorded in Plat Book 6 at Page 34
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, is hereby re-
duced to70.21 , said lot being assessed for its full length
on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 20 of Block 58 in said Pine
Ridge Subdivision, according to the aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to 070.21 , said lot being assessed for its full length
on said preliminary assessment roll and also for its full
width in ►unitary Sewer Improvement SR-9, District SR-9.
The assessment against Lot 2 of Block 75 in said Pine
Ridge Subdivision, according to the aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to 070.21, said lot being assessed for its full length
and its full width on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessment against Lot 3 of Block 75 in said Pine
Ridge Subdivision, according to the aforesaid plat , is hereby
reduced to 470.21, said lot being assessed for its full length
on said preliminary assessment roll.
The assessments against Lots 1 and 5 of Block 76 in Fisher' s
First Subdivision of Alton Beach, as per plat recorded in Plat
Book 2 at Page 77 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
are hereby reduced to 4390.12 and $77.23, respectively, said lots
being assessed for their full length and their full width on
said preliminary assessment roll.
BE IT FURTHER 'RESOLVED that the sums and amounts assessed
against each of the lots or parcels of ground described in said
preliminary assessment roll, and the sums and amounts against
each of the lots or parcels of ground herein set forth are less
than the amounts each lot or parcel of ground is benefited by
said improvement, and that the total cost of said improvement ,
in the sum of 448,582.75 is hereby approved and confirmed, the
proportion of said cost to be paid by the City of Miami Beach,
including the cost at street intersections, being 414,103. 54,
exclusive of the charge hereinbefore made to the City at large.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ten days after this confirma-
tion of said assessment roll the same be delivered to the
City Clerk and the City Clerk is hereby ordered, thirty days a .
after the date of this resolution, to make collection of the
assessments therein as required by law, provided, however, that
the owner of any lot or parcel of land which shall have been

assessed in excess of ; 25.00 may, before the lapse of said
G thirty days, file with the City Clerk, his written under-
taking, waiving all irregularities and illegality in connec-
tion with said assessment against said lot or parcel and
agree to pay the same in equal installments in each of the
five succeeding years, at the times in said years at which
the general City taxes are due and payable, with interest
upon said deferred installments at the rate of six per cent
per annum from date of said confirmation, which said five-
year period is hereby fixed and determined by the City Council.
