RESOLUTION NO. 810
DISTRICT SR-60 SEWER IMPROVEDENT SR-60
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MAUI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the co Zstruc tion of the following described improve-
ment is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby sett-
ing forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter.
SR-60 An eighteen ( 18) inch Concrete Storm Sewer
and necessary manholes and appurtenances:
In Jefferson Avenue eighteen ( 18) feet East
of the ';vest line thereof, from a point fif-
teen (15 ) feet North of the South line of
Second Street to a ~point thirty-two (32)
feet North of the South line of First Street ;
In First Street thirty-two (32) feet North
of the South line, thereof, from the East
line of Alton Road to a point eighteen (18)
feet East of the West line of Jefferson Ave-
nue ;
A twenty-four ( 24) inch Concrete Storm Sewer
and necessary manholes and appurtenances ;
In First Street thirty-two (32) feet North
of the °oath line thereof, from a point sixty-
six (66 ) feet West of the East line of Wash-
ington Avenue , to a point eighteen (18) feet
East of the West line of Jefferson Avenue.
In Biscayne Avenue twelve (12) feet South of
the North line thereof, from a point fifteen
(15) feet East of the West line of Washington
Avenue, to a point eighteen (18) feet East of
the West line of Jefferson Avenue.
A thirty (30) inch Concrete Storm Sewer and
necessary manholes and appurtenances:
In Jefferson Avenue eighteen ( 18) feet East
of the west line thereof, from a point thirty-
two (32) feet North of the South line of First
Street, to a point twelve (12) feet South of
the North line of .Biscayne Avenue.
In Biscayne Avenue twelve (la) feet South of
the North line thereof from a point eighteen
( 18) feet East of the West line of Jefferson
Avenue to Biscayne Bay; as said Streets, Ave-
nues and Road are shown on a plat recorded. in
Plat Book No. 2, rage 81, and as said Mashington
and. Jefferson Avenues are named and designated
in Ordinance No . 170, recorded in Deed Book No .
297, Page 242, all of the Public -Records of
Dade County, Florida.

Which Storm Sewer the City Council declares to be a
special benefit to all of the property embraced within the
following described district:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
Second Street and Ocean Drive ,and run S,uthwesterly along
the center line of said Ocean Drive to the North line of
Biscayne Avenue ; thence Southerly to the Northwest corner of
Lot 1, Block 5 , South Beach Park Subdivison, as shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 6, Page 77, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida; thence Southerly along the
West line of said Lot 1, to the Southwest corner of said
Lot 1; thence Southerly to a point on the South line of
Harley Avenue, fifty and one-half feet West of the Northeast
corner of Lot 6, Block 2, of the said South Beach Park Sub-
division; thence Southerly parallel to Reid Place, to the
South line of the platted Property shown on the aforesaid
Plat of South Beach Park Subdivision; thence Northwesterly
and Westerly along the said South line of the said South
Beach Park Subdivision to its intersection with a line one
hundred and fifty feet West of and parallel with the West
line of Alton Road, produced South; thence Northwesterly
parallel to the West line of said Alton Road to the North
line of Lot 19, Block 111, Ocean Beach Additon No. 3, as
shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 81, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; thence Northeast-
erly along the North line of said Lot 19, and said North
line produced to its intersection with the center line of
Second Street; thence Easterly along the center line of
Second Street to the point of beginning; as said Drive, Place,
Road, Street and Avenues are shown on Plats recorded in Plat
Book No. 2, Pages 31 and 81; Plat Book No. 3, Page 151; and in
Plat Book No. 6, Page 77 ; of the rubric Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to
file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost thereof, includingan estimate
of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimate, the printing and publica-
tion of notices and proceedings, the preparation of ho:mds and
any other expenses necessary and proper. This improvement shall
be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Storm
Sewer Improvement SR-60, and the property against which assess-
ments may be made for the cost thereof hereunder shall be desig-
nated as district SR-60.
