AN ORDINANCE AM,.ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 794
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EN-
TITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF T +E CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING THE OCCUPANCY
OF ANY BUILDING FOR LIVING OR SLEEPING
PURPOSES UNLESS, OR UNTIL, EXCRETA DISPOSAL
FACILITIES OF A TYPE APPROVED BY THE BUILD-
ING INSPECTOR ARE PROVIDED" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 794 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto, immediately after Section 2 thereof, an additional section
to be known as Section 3, and to read as follows:
"Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation
who shall violate or fail to comply with any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be
punished by a fine of not less than One Hundred
($100.00) Dollars, or be imprisoned in the City
Jail for not more than Sixty (60) days, or both,
in the discretion of the Court. Each day that a
violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense."
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 794 OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROHIBITING THE OCCUPANCY OF ANY BUILDING
FOR LIVING OR SLEEPING PURPOSES UNLESS, OR UNTIL EXCRETA DISPOSAL
FACILITIES OF A TYPE APPROVED BY THE BUILDING INSPECTOR ARE PRO-
VIDED", having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three con-
spicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of
February, A. D. , 1947, and that said Ordinance remained posted for
a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements
of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
