AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended
so as to include in "RE" Multiple -Family District as said district
is described and set forth in said ordinance, the following lands
situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to -
wit:
That certain tract of land bounded as follows:
Begin at the intersection of the south line of
West 43rd Street, produced easterly, with the
easterly line of North Michigan avenue, as shown
on Plat of Nautilus Extension Third, recorded in
Plat Book 34, at page 98, of the Dade County
Public Records, said point of beginning also being
the northwesterly corner of a five acre City park;
run in an easterly direction along the southerly
line of West 43rd Street, produced easterly, said
line being the north line of said five acre park,
a distance of 752.8 feet to the westerly line of
North Meridian Avenue, as shown on Plat of Nautilus
Addition, recorded in Plat Book 8, at page 130,
of the Dade County Public Records; thence run
in a northerly direction along the westerly line
of North Meridian Avenue a distance of 151.89 feet
to a point, said point being 51.2 feet northerly
from the point of curvature as shown on said plat;
thence run in a westerly direction along a line
deflecting to the left 90 degrees to the westerly
line of said North Meridian Avenue, a distance of
790.27 feet to the easterly line of North Michigan
Avenue, said point being 80 feet north of the point
of curvature as shown opposite Lot 17, Block 22 of
said Nautilus Extension Third; thence deflecting
left 90 degrees run in a southerly direction along
the easterly line of North Michigan Avenue 412.94
feet to the point of beginning, containing five
acres, more or less.
AND ALSO, that certain tract of land bounded as follows:
Beginning at a point which is the intersection of the
Northerly line of :,fest Forty-second Street and the
Westerly line of North Meridian Avenue; thence
Westerly along said Northerly line of ;lest Forty-
second Street for a distance of 700 feet, more or
less, to a point which is on the Easterly line of
North Michigan Avenue; thence Northerly along said

Easterly line of North Michigan Avenue for a
distance of 491.4 feet, more or less, to a point
which is on the Southerly line of ':lest Forty-
third Street produced Easterly; thence Easterly
along said Southerly line of West Forty-third
Street produced Easterly for a distance of 752.9
feet, more or less, to a point on said :.Westerly
line of North Meriian Avenue; thence Southerly
along said Westerly line of North Meridian Avenue
for a distance of 147.57 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning, as said INTorth Meridian
Avenue is shown on Nautilus Addition, recorded
in Plat Book 8, at page 130, and as said West
Forty -Second Street is shown on Forty-first
Street Business Subdivision, recorded in Plat
Book 34, at page 92, and as said North Michigan
Avenue and West Fory-third Street are shown on
Nautilus Extension Third, recorded in Plat Book 34
at page 98, all of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and containing 5.114 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof be and the same are hereby amended
so as to include in "BAI.A" Business District as said district
is described and set forth in said ordinance, the following
lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade L%ounty, Florida,
to -wit:
All of Lot 8 and the south 31.39 feet of Lot 7,
Block 47 of OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2,
at page 81, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 881, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA", having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami 3each, Florida, has been posted by me
in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which
was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 6th day of
April, A. D. 1949, and that said Ordinance remained posted for a
period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of
the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the offi-
cial seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the 13th day
of May, A. D. 1949.
