NO. 394 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, IMPOSING LICENSES AND OTHER
TAXES ON PRIVILEGES, BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS
AND PROFESSIONS CARRIED ON AND ENGAGED IN
WITHIN SAID CITY, AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR THE EXERCISING OF SUCH PRIVILEGES OR
CARRYING ON SUCH BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS OR
PROFESSIONS, WITHOUT A LICENSE OR OTtIR FAI-
LURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS THEREOF."
BE If ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tri, CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of Section 5 of Ordinance No. 394
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as
follows:
"DOG OR OTHER
"TRAINED ANIMAL XHIBITION, each day . . . 77.65"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"DOG RACING, or TRAINED ANIMAL
EXHIBITION, each day q.,;50.00"
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, IMPOSING LICENSES AND OTHER
TAXES•ON PRIVILEGES, B3USINESSES, OCCUPATIONS AND PROFESSIONS
CARRIED ON AND ENGAGED IN WITHIN SAID CITY, AND PRESCRIBING
PENALTIES FOR THE EXERCISING OF SUCH PRIVILEGES OR CARRYING ON
SUCH BUSINESSES, OCCUPATIONS OR PROFESSIONS, WITHOUT A LICENSE OR
OTHER FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS THEREOF", having been
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the
City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall
in said City on the 19th day of January, A. D. 1949, and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.

affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Reach, Florida, on
this the 21st day of February, A. D. 1949.
