RESOLUTION NO. 860
DISTRICT BH-1 BULKHEAD IMPROVEMENT BH-1
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
BH-1 INDIAN CREEK: a water way in said City, to
be bulkheaded on the East side thereof, with
a Concrete Bulkhead one foot wide at the top,
two and one-half feet wide at the bottom and
three feet above mean low water, between the
South line of Lot 10, Block 9, and forth line
of Lot 1, Block 40, all of the Amended Map of
the Ocean Front property of the Miami Beach Im-
provement Company, recorded in Elat Book No. 5,
Pages 7 and 8.
Which Concrete Bulkhead the City Council hereby deems to be
a special benefit to all of the following property:
Lots 9 and 10 of Block 9 ; lots 9 to 12, inclusive, of Block 10;
Lots 12 to 17 , inclusive, of block 12; Lots 23 to 26, inclusive,
of block 14; Lots 11 to 14, inclusive, of Block 16 ; Lots 14 to 17,
inclusive, of block 18; Lot 10 of block 20; Lots 14 to 17 , inclu-
sive, of block 22; Lots 17 to 20, inclusive , of block 24; Lots 20
to 23, inclusive, of Block 26 ; Lots 20 to 23, inclusive, of Block
28 ; Lots 22 to 25 , inclusive, of Block 30; Lots 20 to 24, inclusive,
of block 32; Lots 16 to 19, inclusive, of block 34; Lots 14 to 18,
inclusive, of block 36 ; Lots 13 to 16, inclusive, of block 38; Lots
1,2,3,6,and 7, of Block 40 and that strip of land lying between In-
dian Creek and Indian Creek Drive, and the said South line of Lot 10,
Block 9 and the said North line of Lot 1, Block 40, all as shown on
the Amended idap of the Ocean Front Property of The Miami Beach Im-
provement Company, recorded in Plat Book No. 5, Pages 7 and 8, of the
Public .Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimate, the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings, the preparation of bonds and any other expenses necessary
and proper. Whis improvement shall be designated in all proceedings ,
assessments and bonds as Bulkhead Improvement BH-i, and the property
a=gainst which assessments may be made for the cost thereof hereunder
shall be designated as District BH-1.
