AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 16 of Ordinance No. 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby a-
mended by inserting therein, immediately preceding
the last paragraph thereof, the following:
"DISTRICT NO. 44: There shall be a front
yard having a depth of not less than 25
feet. There shall be a rear yard having a
depth of not less than 10 feet. There shall
be a side yard having a width of not less
than five feet on either side of a building.
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended
so as to include in "RE" Multiple -Family District and in Area
District No. 44, as said districts are described and set forth
in said ordinance, the following lands situate, lying and being
in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to -wit:
Lots 4 to 17, inclusive, of Block 41,
of LELLEVIEW SUBDIVISION, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 6, at page 114, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended
so as to include in "RE" Multiple -Family District and in Area
District No. 44, as said districts are described and set forth
in said ordinance, the following lands situate, lying and being
in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 13
to 18, inclusive, of Block 44, of
Alton Beach Realty Company's Subdivi-
sion, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 6, at page 166,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
SiCTION 4: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended
so as to include in "BAA" Business District and in Area District
No. 19, as said districts are described and set forth in said
ordinance, the following lands situate, lying and being in
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to -wit:
Lots 19, 20 and 21 of Block 40, Lots
11, 12 and 13 of Block 45, all in
the Alton Beach Realty Company's Sub-
division, according to the Plat there-
of, recorded in Plat Book 6, at page
165, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;

of Alton Beach Realty Company's Subdivi-
sion, according to the Plat thereof, re-
corded in Plat Book 6, at page 166, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
5: That Ordinance No. 289 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and the maps attached thereto and made a
part thereof, be and the same are hereby amended
include in "RE" Multiple -Family District and in Area
No. 38, as said districts are described and set forth
ordinance, the following lands situate, lying and being
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to -wit:
Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Block 43 of
Alton Beach Realty Company's Bay
Front Subdivision, according to the
Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
4, at page 125, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
SECTION 6: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

851, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289 OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
"ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three
conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 3rd day of June, A. D. 1948, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Reach, Florida,
on this the 7th day of July, A. D. 1948.
