BEACH, FLORIDA, CHANGING THE NAME
OF EVERGLADES CONCOURSE TO SEVENTY-
- FIRST (71ST) STREET
BE IT ORDAINED EY ThE CITY COUNCIL Or' THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that certain highway shown and designated as
"South Everglades Concourse" on Plats of the Isle
of Normandy, recorded in Plat Book Twenty-five (25) ,
at Paries Fifty-six ( 56) and Sixty (60) , and in Plat Book Thirty-
four ( 34) , at Page Eighty (80) , Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and heretofore changed in name to "Everglades Concourse",
by Ordinance No. 538 of the City of Miami Beach, which said high-
way extends from Indian Creek on the east to Biscayne Bay on the
west, is hereby changed in name apd designation, and shall here-
after be known, designated and referred to as "Seventy-first (71st)
Street".
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of August , A. D.
1951.

I, C. W. TOMLINSON, City Clerk in and for the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 982, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, CHANGING THE NAME OF EVERGLADES CONCOURSE TO SEVENTY-
FIRST (71ST) STREET" , having been passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been
posted by me in three conspicudus places in the City of Miami
Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said
City on the 16th day of August, A. D. 1951 , and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
cf the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 1st day of October, A. D. 1951 .
