AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.2 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
1950".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 6.2 of "The Code of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 6.2 SALARY SCHEDULE OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS.
A schedule of rates of salaries for the administrative
officers of the city is hereby established as follows:
(a) City -Engineer Salary per month 835.00
(b) City Clerk It " " 835.00
(c) Shop and Water " ' a "

Notwithstanding the schedules , rates, salaries and allow-
ances in this section hereinbefore set forth, there shall
be paid to each employee whose payment of salary is
authorized by this section, as increased cost of living
compensation, an additional salary or allowance based upon
the following provision:
a. There shall be added to the computed pay for each
employee on a monthly rate, ten dollars (40.00)
for each half month period, less eighty cents
($.80) for each normal work day in that period
for which no compensation is paid.
The additional compensation thus provided for shall be
applicable to all payments of salary and allowances paid
for services rendered on and after October let, 1950."
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

FLORIDA 1950' " , having been passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the
City Hall in said City on the 19th day of September,
A. D. 1951, and that said Ordinance remained posted for
a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the
requirements of the City Charter of the said City of
Miami Beach.
