Ordinance 1076 ORDINANCE NO. 1076
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4.19 OF "THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 4.19 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950" be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto immediately preceding the last para-
graph thereof the following:
"Canopy District J. This district shall consist of the
North side of Lincoln Road from the
East line of Jefferson -venule to a point one hundred and
fifty (150) feet east of said line; and the East side
of Jefferson Avenue from the North line of Lincoln Road
to a point one hundred and fifty (150) feet North of said
line.
In this district, permanent canopies, if erected, shall
be cantilevered from the main building walls, shall have
a face depth of eighteen (18) inches or less, shall pro-
ject a uniform distance of seven (7) feet from the
property line, and shall be a uniform height above the
sidewalk of ten (10) feet."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 1: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, oreof
which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
19th day of August, A. D. 1953, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
