AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15 .19
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That that portion of Section 15.19 of "The
Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
1950" reading as follows :
"No licensed vendor except 'clubs ' and 'night clubs ' ,
as in this chapter defined, shall permit or allow any
music or other form of entertainment in the place of
business of such vendor, or in any room connecting
directly therewith through doors or other means of
ingress or egress at any hour of the day or night
except as in this section Hereinafter provided.
"A vendor licensed under subsection (g ) or subsection
( j ) of section 15.8 of this Code, may permit or pro-
vide liquor or entertainment in the place of business
of such vendor between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 12:00
Midnight every day, and during the hour between Midnight
on Saturday and 1 :00 A.M. on Sunday.
"A vendor licensed under subsection (g ) of section 15.8
of this Code, whose place of business constitutes an
'extra-hour cabaret ' , as in this chapter defined, may
permit or provide liquor or entertainment in the place
of business of such-vendor at any hour on any day ex-
cept between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 7 :00 A.M.
"A vendor licensed under subsection (g ) of section 15 .8
cf this Code, whose place of business constitutes a
'cabaret ' , as in this chapter defined, may permit or
provide liquor or entertainment in the place of business
of such vendor at any hour on any day except between
the hours of 1 :00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"No licensed vendor except ' clubs ' and 'night clubs ' ,
as in this chapter defined, shall permit or allow any
music or other form of entertainment in the place of
business of such vendor, or in any room connecting
directly therewith through doors or other means of
ingress or egress at any hour of the day or night
except as in this section hereinafter provided.
"A vendor licensed under subsection (g) or subsection

of such vendor at any hour on any dad except between
the hours of 1 :00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are here-
by repealed .
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immedia-
tely upon its passage and posting as provided
by law.

No. 1128, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.19 OF
'THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950' ",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of
which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the
16th day of September, 1954, and that said Ordinance remained
posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance
with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City
of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 3rd day of November, A. D. 1954.
