Ordinance 1136 ORDINANCE NO . 1136
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 . That "The Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
1950" be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto, immediately after Section 18.10 thereof, an additional
section to read as follows :
"SECTION 18 .10.1 , It shall be unlawful for any
person as owner, manager, operator,
or as agent or employee for such owner, manager or
operator of any swimming pool in the City, to
which the public is admitted either with or without
charge, or to which guests of a hotel, apartment house
or rooming house are admitted either with or without
charge, to fail to place barricades or fences around
such pool while such pool is empty, or not in use,
or being drained or filled, so as to prevent entrance
to such pool by any person, except such owner,
manager, operator or agent and an agent or employee
of the same . "
SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by
law.

No. 1136, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 'THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, 1950' ", having been passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of
Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in
said City on the 21st day of October, 1954, and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance
with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami
Beach.
