AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO . 289
COMMONLY KNOWN AS "THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Ordinance No . 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida and the maps attach-
ed thereto and made a part thereof be and the same are
hereby amended so as to include in the "Two-Story Cabana
District" and in Area District No . 43, as said Districts
are set forth and defined in said Ordinance, that certain
parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida
bounded as follows, to-wit :
"Bounded on the easterly side by the harbor line
described as follows :
Beginning at a point which is on the northerly line
produced easterly of Lot "A" of The Indian Beach Cor-
poration ' s Subdivision, and five hundred sixty-two
and four-tenths (5o2.4) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, measured along the said north-
erly line of Lot "A" and said northerly line of Lot
"A" produced easterly ; thence run in a northerly
direction three hundred fifty (350) feet, more or
less, to a point on the centerline produced easterly
of Lot Four (4) of the above mentioned subdivision,
said point being five hundred fifty-three (553) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along said centerline and said centerline
produced easterly; thence run in a northerly direction
five hundred fifty (550) feet, more or less, to a point
on the northerly line produced easterly of Lot Nine (9)
of the above mentioned subdivision, said point being
four hundred eighty-two (482) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue, measured along said
northerly line of Lot Nine (9) , and said northerly
line of Lot Nine (9) produced easterly; thence run
in a northerly direction three hundred (300) feet,
more or less, to a point on the northerly line pro-
duced easterly of Lot Twelve (12) of the above men-
tioned Subdivision, said point being four hundred
seventy-two (472) feet easterly of the easterly line
of Collins Avenue, measured along said northerly line
of Lot Twelve (12) , and said northerly line of Lot
Twelve (12) produced easterly;
As said Lots, Avenue and Subdivision are shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Sixty-one
(bl ) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Bounded on the southerly side by the northerly line
of said Lot "A" and said line produced easterly.
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly line
of Lot 5 of said Indian Beach Corporation ' s Subdi-
vision and said line produced easterly.

Bounded on the westerly side by a line parallel to
and sixty-five (65) feet westerly of the above mention-
ed easterly boundary line, said sixty-five (65) feet
being measured at right angles from said easterly
boundary line . "
SECTION 2: That Ordinance No . 289 of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida and the maps attach-
ed thereto and made a part thereof be and the same are
hereby amended so as to include in Area District No . 57,
as said District is set forth and defined in said Ordi-
nance, that certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach,
Florida described as follows, to-wit :
"All of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of The Indian Beach
Corporation's Subdivision, according to the Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 8, page bl of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida; except
that portion thereof which is bounded as follows,
to-wit :
Bounded on the easterly side by the harbor line
described as follows :
Beginning at a point which is on the northerly line
produced easterly of Lot "A" of The Indian Beach Cor-
poration ' s Subdivision and five hundred sixty-two
and four-tenths (562 .4) feet easterly of the easterly
line of Collins Avenue, measured along the said north-
erly line of Lot "A" and said northerly line of Lot
"A" produced easterly; thence run in a northerly
direction three hundred fifty (350) feet , more or
less, to a point on the centerline produced easterly
of Lot Four (4) of the above mentioned subdivision,
said point being five hundred fifty-three (753) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along said centerline and said centerline
produced easterly; thence run in a northerly direct-
ion five hundred fifty (550) feet, more or less, to
a point on the northerly line produced easterly of
Lot Nine (9) of the above mentioned subdivision,
said point being four hundred eighty-two (482 ) feet
easterly of the easterly line of Collins Avenue,
measured along said northerly line of Lot Nine (9) ,
and said northerly line of Lot Nine (9) produced
easterly; thence run in a northerly direction three
hundred (300) feet, more or less, to a point on the
northerly line produced easterly of Lot Twelve (12 )
of the above mentioned Subdivision, said point being
four hundred seventy-two (472) feet easterly of the
easterly line of Collins Avenue , measured along said
northerly line of Lot Twelve (12) , and said northerly
line of Lot Twelve (12) produced easterly;
As said Lots, Avenue and Subdivision are shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Sixty-one
(61 ) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
Bounded on the southerly side by the northerly line
of said Lot "A" and said line produced easterly.
Bounded on the northerly side by the northerly line
of Lot 5 of said Indian Beach Corporation ' s Subdivi-
sion and said line produced easterly.
Bounded on the westerly side by a line parallel to
and sixty-five (65) feet westerly of the above men-
tioned easterly boundary line , said sixty-five (65)
feet being measured at right angles from said east-
erly boundary line . "

SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting
as provided by law.

City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance
No. 1138, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289
COMMONLY KNOWN AS 'THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA' ", having been passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted
by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach,
one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City
on the 4th day of November, 1954 and that said Ordinance
remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in
accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the
said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
on this the 5th day of January, 1955.
