RESOLUTION NO. 1082
DISTRICT SR-77 STORU SEWER TI PROVEMENT SR-77
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improve-
ment is hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-77 The laying underground of an 18" Terra Cotta Storm
Sewer, or an 18" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Alton Road, from a point forty-
five feet South of the center line of Ninth Street to
a point fifteen feet South of the North line of Eighth
Street.
The laying underground of a 21" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 21" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Sixth Street, from the East
line of Alton Road to a point at the West line of West
Avenue and three feet South of the South line of Lot
1, Block 1 of the r'leetwood Subdivision;
At or near the center of said Sixth Street, from a
point twenty-five feet East of the West line of Meridian
Avenue to a point twenty-five feet East of the West
line of Jefferson Avenue;
The laying underground of a 24" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 24" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances :
At or near the center of Seventh Street, from a point
two feet West of the East line of Washington Avenue to
a point twenty-five feet West of the East line of
Euclid Avenue ;
In an easement ten feet wide, from the said point at
the West line of said West Avenue and three feet South
of the said South line of said Lot 1, Block 1, to Bis-
cayne Bay at a point three feet South of the said South
line of said Lot 1; the center of said ten foot easement
being the said South line of said Lot 1, said Block 1
of said Fleetwood Subdivision;
At or near the center of Jefferson Avenue, from a point
fifteen feet South of the North line of said Sixth Street
to a point fifteen feet South of the North line of said
Seventh Street;
The laying underground of a 27" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 27" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of said Seventh Street, from the
said point twenty-five feet West of the said East line
of said Euclid Avenue to a point twenty-five feet East
of the said West line of said Meridian Avenue.
The laying underground of a 30" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 30" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances :
At or near the center of said Seventh Street, from the
said point twenty-five feet East of the said West line
of said Meridian Avenue to a point twenty-five feet
East of the said West line of said Jefferson Avenue.
The laying underground of a 36" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 36" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of said Seventh Street, from the
said point twenty-five feet East of the said West line
of said Jefferson Avenue to a point twenty-five feet West
of the East line of Michigan Avenue ;
At or near the center of said Michigan Avenue, from a
point fifteen feet South of the said Horth line of said
Seventh Street to a point fifteen feet South of the said
North line of said Eighth Street ;
At or near the center of said Eighth Street, from a point
twenty-five feet West of the said East line of said Michi-
gan Avenue to a point thirty feet West of the said East
line of said Alton Road.
The laying underground of a 42" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer
or a 42" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and
appurtenances:
At or near the center of said Alton Road, from a point
fifteen feet South of the said North line of said Eighth
Street to a point one hundred and forty feet South of the
South line of said Eighth Street;
Also from the last said point across said Alton Road to
the Northeast corner of Lot 19, Block 2, of said Fleetwood
Subdivision;
Also in an easement ten feet wide, from said Northeast
corner of said Lot 19 , along the North line of said Lot
19, and Lot 14, of said Block 2, to the Northwest corner
of said Lot 14; the center of said ten foot easement being
the said North line of said Lots 19 and 14, of said Block
2, of said Fleetwood Subdivision.
The laying underground of a 48" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 48" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and
appurtenances:
From the said Northwest corner of the said Lot 14, across
said West Avenue to the Northeast corner of Lot 9, said
Block 1, of said Fleetwood Subdivision;
And also in an easement ten feet wide, from the said
Northeast corner of said Lot 9, along the North line
of said Lot 9, to Biscayne Bay; the center of said ten
foot easement being the said North line of said Lot 9,
said Block 1, of said Fleetwood Subdivision;
As said Streets, Avenues, Road, Subdivision and Bay are
shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 81; in
Plat Book No. 3, Page 11; in Plat Book No. 7, Page 15 ;
and in Plat Book No. 14, Page 16, and as said Avenues
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 170, recorded
in Deed Book No. 297 , Page 242; all of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida;
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
Which Storm Sewers the City Council declares to be a special
benefit to all of the property embraced within the following described
district:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Ocean Drive
and Sixth Street, and running Westerly along the said center line of
said Sixth Street to the center line of Washington Avenue ; thence
Northerly along the said center line of said Washington Avenue to the
center line of said Sixth Street, running Westerly from said Washing-
ton Avenue ; thence Westerly along the said center line of said Sixth
Street to the center line of Euclid Avenue ; thence Southerly along the
said center line of said Euclid Avenue to the intersection of the said

16 ; and as said Avenues are nased and designated in Ordinance No.
170, recorded in Deed Book No. 297, Page 242, all of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each thousand square feet
of the property specially benefited thereby.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-77, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SR-77.
