RESOLUTION NO. 1084
DISTRICT SR-79 STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-79
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-79 The laying underground of a 15" Terra Cotta Storm
Sewer or a 15" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary man-
' holes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Forty-third Street, from a
point fifteen feet West of the East line of Indian
Creek Drive to Indian Creek;
The laying underground of a 21" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 21" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Fortieth Street, from a point
twenty feet East of the West line of Collins Avenue to
said Indian Creek;
The laying underground of a 24" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer,
or a 24" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes
and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Thirty-sixth Street, from a point
twenty feet East of the said West line of said Collins
Avenue to said Indian Creek;
As said Streets, Avenue, Drive and Creek are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 5, Pa;;es 7 and 8, and
as said Streets are named and designated in Ordinance
No. 170, recorded in Deed Book No. 297, Page 242, all
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions :
Which Storm Sewers the City Council declares to be a special benefit
to all of the property embraced within the following described dis-
trict ;
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Thirtieth Street
with the East line of Indian Creek Drive and running Northerly along
said East line of said Indian Creek Drive to the North line of Forty-
fourth Street; thence Easterly along the said North line of said
Forty-fourth Street and said North line produced Easterly to a point
two hundred and twenty feet East of the East line of Collins Avenue ;
thence Southerly parallel to the said East line of said Collins Ave-
nue to the center line of said Thirtieth Street ; thence Westeikye along
the said center line of said Thi a�th Street to the said East line
of said Indian Creek Drive ; the point of beginning;

As said Streets, Avenue and Drive are shown on a Plat recorded
in Plat Book No. 5, Pages 7 and 8; and as said Streets are named
and designated in Ordinance No. 170, recorded in Deed Book No. 297 ,
Page 242; all of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an esti-
mate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys,
the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and vaork herein
provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
thousand square feet of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sewer Improvement SR-79, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SR-79.
