AN ORDINANCE REVISING WATER RATES,
FEES AND CHARGES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 45.4 of the Code of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as
follows:
"(a) The meter rate to non -municipal con-
sumers for water supply service in the
territory shall be 33¢ per 1,000 gallons."
"(b) Municipal consumers - any municipality
which purchases its water supply in whole or
in part from the City and meets the require-
ments of sub -section (c) shall be charged at
the rate of 25¢ per 1,000 gallons."
be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 3. All Ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, having found and determined that an
emergency exists within the intent and purpose of Section
9 of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, this
Ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency measure pursuant
to the provisions of said Section.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall go into effect as of
October 1, 1972.

1972.

of the City Hall in said City on the 26th day of September, 1972,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
