ORDINANCE NO. 1937
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF
POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1.
That the following line be added, in numerical sequence,
to Section 1, Part I, Administrative, Clerical, Professional
and Technical, of Ordinance 789:
"2355 Stage Manager
SECTION 2.
SECTION 3.
SECTION 4.

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall become effective as of October 18, 1972.
This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under
the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of October, 1972,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
