AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO.
1605 SO AS TO AMEND THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR
UNCLASSIFIED CLASSIFICATIONS OF RETARDATION
DRIVER/AIDE AND RETARDATION INSTRUCTOR AIDE WHICH
WERE INADVERTENTLY OMITTED WHEN ORDINANCE NO.
79-2154 WAS PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION; AND
PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION OF SAME AS AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Salary Ordinance No. 1605 of the City of Miami Beach is hereby
amended, effective April 1, 1979, by providing for a six dollar
($6.00) a week increase to classifications listed below so that said
classifications are compensated as of said date within the range set
forth below respectively for each (said positions having been in-
advertently omitted from Ordinance No. 79-2154 passed and adopted
this 21st day of March, 1979).

SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That if any portion of this ordinance shall be declared invalid, the
remaining portions shall have the same force and effect as though such
invalid portion or portions had not been included.
SECTION 4.
That the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach has found and
determined that a public emergency exists affecting life, health,
property or public safety, this ordinance is hereby adopted as
an emergency measure and shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
