AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605 BEING
THE UNCLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES SALARY ORDINANCE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR
A SEVEN PERCENT (7%) INCREASE TO CLASSIFICATIONS
IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SALARY ORDINANCE EXCLUDING
THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE RETROACTIVE TO OCTOBER 8, 1979.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COYMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1, That Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 1605 which read as follows:
"SECTION 1: The following shall constitute the Compensation Plan for the offices
and positions in the Unclassified Service which are hereby created or
re-created in accordance with the following organization plan, and a schedule of
rates of salaries effective April 1, 1979, and as thereafter amended, for said
offices and positions is hereby established as follows:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be amended retroactive to October 8, 1979,
(said date being based upon commencement of the first payroll
period beginning on or after October 1, 1979.)
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall go into effect upon its passage in accordance
with law.
