ORDINANCE NO. 79-2150
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605, BEING "AN ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING A COMPENSATION
PLAN FOR OFFICES AND POSITIONS IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE ;
CREATING OR RE-CREATING SAID OFFICES AND POSITIONS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH AN ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CREATION OF RETARDATION
CASEWORKER, RETARDATION DRIVER/AIDE, RETARDATION EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR/
COORDINATOR, RETARDATION INSTRUCTOR, RETARDATION INSTRUCTOR AIDE;
CHANGING TITLE OF THERAPEUTIC RECREATION SUPERVISOR TO RETARDATION
PROGRAM DIRECTOR; AND ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF SALARIES THEREFOR;"
PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following lines in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1605 which
reads as follows:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective as of February 1, 1979.
SECTION 4. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under the
provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.
