SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to R-questfor Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -070 -JC, for
Janitorial Services
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017 -070 -JC, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) to
provide the City with daily janitorial and related services to administrative and athletic facilities,
beachfront facilities, restrooms and various other locations, in an effort to maintain the cleanliness
and appearance of City properties, for residents and visitors of the City of Miami Beach.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Thursday, November 9, 2017. The
responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria
established in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Miguel Beingolea, Operations Manager, Parking Department, City of Miami Beach
• Maggie Brown, Training Specialist, Organizational Development and Performance Initiatives,
City of Miami Beach
• Michael Clark, Sanitation Operations, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Carlos DaCruz, Project Manager, Parks and Recreation Department, City of Miami Beach
• Rene Guerra, Zone Manager, Property Management Division, City of Miami Beach
• Mark Morgan, Facilities Zone Manager, Property Management Division, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Jose Del Risco, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department, City of Miami Beach
• Ramon Duarte, Supervisor, Property Management Division, City of Miami Beach
• Rhonda McPherson, Sanitation Operations, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
