City Manager U ~vO CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS/PIPELlNE INTERNET RATES To: Subject: Charter Communications Cable Company will move effective June 1, 2002, Turner Broadcasting System (TBS), from Channel 32 to Channel 44 and Telemiami will move from Channel 44 to Channel 32. Also, effective June 15, 2002, due to an increase in operating costs, Charter Communications Cable Company will be increasing by $5, two of their Charter Pipeline Internet services. The Internet Lite rates will increase from $24.95 to $29.95, and the Residential Classic from $39.95 to $44.95. Other levels of Residential Internet Services will remain the same. Attached please find Charter Communications notification letters dated April 16, 2002 and May 6, 2002. Residential Classic.. $ 24.95 $ 39.95 $29.95 $44.95 .Rates do not include IaJC. ..Rate includes modem While not an easy decision, this $5.00 adjustment is necessary because of our steadily increasing operating costs.
