AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA PERMITTING TRAMS ELEC-
TRIC OF FLORIDA, INC. TO OPERATE ELECTRIC TRAMS
ON LINCOLN ROAD MALL, AND TOUR TRAMS WITHIN THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION: 1. The City Commission of the City of Miami Beach has
reviewed the proposed revocable permit granting Trams Electric of
Florida, Inc. the right to operate electric passenger trams within
the City of Miami Beach.
SECTION: 2. The City Commission has been advised by the City Man-
ager that said permit is in the best interest of the City of Miami
Beach.
SECTION: 3. The City Commission has been advised by Trams Elec-
tric of Florida, Inc. that it accepts the terms and conditions of
said permit.
SECTION: 4. Therefore, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach hereby grants Trams Electric of Florida, Inc. the permit as
described in the attached Permit Documents, which is incorporated
herein.
SECTION: 5. This Ordinance, and the permit which it incorporates
and ratifies, shall take precedence over any conflicting provisions
of Art. III, Chapter 42, Miami Beach Code, unless said Chapter im-
poses higher standards on the permittee, or grants greater powers or
rights to the City, in which case the provisions of said Chapter
shall govern this permit.
SECTION: 6. This Ordinance, and the permit it ratifies, shall
take effect immediately upon adoption.
