The Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Miami Beach Beautification
Committee, cordially invites you to attend a Festival of Trees in observance of Arbor Day
on May 11, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at North Shore Open Space Park, 8100
Collins Avenue. This year's event will feature a tree planting ceremony, live tree pruning
demonstrations, educational talks, children's activities and tree giveaway, all within the
beautiful setting of North Shore Open Space Park (see attached flyer).
Your participation, as well as that of your family and friends, is greatly welcomed. Please
RSVP to Carlos Da Cruz in the Parks & Recreation Department by May 10, 2002.
