1. Th.:t pursuant to the resolution of this City Council
adoDtec the 25 - day of January, 1928 , an election was held in
said City on :arch 1;i), 1928 , for the purpose of su'bmittin(2; to
the duly registered and qualified voters of said City who are
freeholcer•s therein, the following question, to-wit :
"Shall the City of hiami Beach, Florida , issue nego-
tiaale couy�on bonds in the sun of Three Hundred Thousand ?ollars
( ';300 ,000.00 ) for the purpose of constructing a board walk in
Lum us Tarr.?"
the result of which election has been returned to this City
Council by the inspectors and cierhs who conducted said election.
2. That this City Council hay_ canvassed the said return,
which canvass was rade solely, exclusively and entirely :roil' the
certificate of the return made by said inspectors and cler..s ,
and has found the result of said election to be in the negative
and against the iss_Lance of said bonds for the above-stated pur-
pose , the result of said election being as follows:
12C voters voted "yes" and
181 voters voted "re"
as to the ponds for the board walk hereinabove mentioned.
