RESOLUTION NO. 1782
DISTRICT SR-117 SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-117
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-117 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Gotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of 43rd Street from a point at or
near the center line of Collins Avenue to a point one
hundred ten feet west of the West line of said Collins
Avenue;
At or near the center of 41st Street , from a point at
or near the West line of Collins Avenue to a point
one hundred fifty feet West of the said West line of
said Collins Avenue;
At or near the center of 40th Street, from a point at
or near the West line of Collins Avenue to a point
two hundred thirty feet West of the said West line of
said Collins Avenue;
At or hear the center of 36th Street, from a point
one hundred twenty feet west of the West line of Collins
Avenue to a point two hundred, thirty feet West of
the said West Line of said Collins Avenue;
At or near the center of 35th Street, from a point at
or near the East Line of Indian Creek Drive to a
point one hundred thirty-five feet East of the said East
Line of said Indian Creek Drive;
At or near the center of 32nd Street, from a point at
or near the East Line of Indian Creek Drive to a
point one hundred seventy feet East of the said East
Line of the said Indian Creek Drive;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete, Sewer
Lateral, from the main sewer to the street line of
approximately each forty feet of adjacent property; also
a bo concrete, or a 6" Terra Cotta, Sewer Lateral, from
the now existing main sewer to the street lines of Lots
13 and 14, Block 36; Lot 9, Block 38; Lots 10, 15 16, 19 ,
and 20, Block 28; Lots 13 , 14, lg and 23 , Block 2b; Lots
13 and 14, Block 24; all as a part of the main improvement.
As said Avenue, Drive, Streets, Lots and Blocks are shown
on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 5 at Pages 7 and 8 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; and as said
streets are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and speoificaions of each kind of said
improvement and an estimate of the cost of each, including an
estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the pre-
paration of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting prop-
erty.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-117, and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for the
cost thereof shall be designated as District SR-117.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this lath day of May, A. D. , 1928.
