Ordinance 75-2042 ORDINANCE NO. 75-2042
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH BY REPEALING SECTIONS 2-76
THROUGH 2-82, BEING ARTICLE X OF CHAPTER 2
OF SAID CODE, WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE
CREATION AND DUTIES OF THE LANDLORD-TENANT
ARBITRATION BOARD OF MIAMI BEACH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Sections 2-76 through 2-82 , inclusive, being
Article X of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of
Miami Beach, which provides for the creation of the Miami Beach
Landlord-Tenant Arbitration Board, and prescribing the duties
thereof, be and the same are hereby repealed, it having been
determined by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, that said Board is no longer required.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, having found and determined that a public
emergency exists affecting life, health, property or public
safety, this ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency measure .
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage as an emergency measure, pursuant
to Section 9 of the Charter of the City of Miami Beach, and
Section 166 . 041, Florida Statutes , 1973.

in said City on the 17th day of September , 1975,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
