A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
PROVIDING FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER lath, 1928.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That for the purpose of holding and conduct-

provided, the registration books of said City to be divided into

Weiss, Maurice L. Meyers, A. Frank Katzentine , Monte C. Kreeger,
John Muller, J. P. Caldwell, Van C. Kus scow, E. Q. Rodgers, J. L.
Sibley, Ben Battle and M. J. Gilroy be and they are hereby appoin-
ted inspectors and Hollis Bush, Hugh S. Larrick, Adolph Schsiartzkopf,
Tom Koons and Chas. L. Selecman are hereby appointed clerks which
names the City Clerk shall certify to the Mayor.
action 2. That said general election be held at any con-
venient place at the City Hall in the City of
Miami Beach, Florida.
ags1A2m".1. That said election shall be held from 8 o' clock
A. M. , until sundown on December lath, 1928, for
the purpose of electing a Mayor and five City Councilmen, all of
which persons shall hold office for the term of two years, and/or
until their successors are regularly elected and qualified, except
that the two Councilmen who shall receive the highest number of
votes at such election shall hold office for the term of four years
and, or until their successors are regularly elected and qualified,

ion 4+. That thirty days s notice of said election shall be
given by the Mayor of said City b y posting the
notice hereinafter provided for thirty days in three conspicuous
laces in the City of Miami Beach, to-wit: at the Police Station,

at Fire Station No. 2 and at the City Hall, and shall be published
once each week for a period of thirty days next preceding such elec-
tion in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper published in the City of
Miami Beach, Florida.
ection 5, That said inspectors and clerks shall certify the
result of said election to said City Council im-
mediately after holding of said election.
Section 6.
That said notice of election shall be in substan-
tially the following form:
"Notice isg iven that a general election will
be held at the City Hall in the City of Miami
Beach Florida, from 8 o' clock A. M. , until
