Resolution 1970 - - - -- - - 4/30/29-W RESOLUTION NO._1E.I. DISTRICT SR-127 STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-127 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter: Tile laying underground of a 15" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer, or a 15" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and appurtenances; In and across Block 15 of Sunset Lake Subdivision as it is shown .on the Amended Plat of the same from the intersection of North Bay Hoed end West Twenty-First Street to Sunset Lake; The laying underground of an 18" Terra Cotta Storm Sewer, or an 18" Concrete Storm Sewer, and necessary manholes and appurtenances, In and across Block 15.,13 of Resubdivision of Lots 16 to 21, Inclusive , Block 15 of the Sunset Lake Subdivision from a point at or near the center line of North Bay Road to an outfall at the ' esterly line of said Block 15-13;. The layinL; underground of a 21" Terra Cotta • Storm Sewer , or a 21" Concrete Storm Sewer , • and necessary manholes and appurtenances; At or near the center of Alton Road from a point at or near the intersection of the center linesof North Bay Road and Alton Road immediately South of Biscayne Waterway 1 1 to said Biscayne Waterway; In and across Block 12 of said Sunset Lake Subdivision from the intersection of North Bay Road and West 27th Street to Sunset Lake, As said Roads, Streets, Subdivision, Re- subdivision, Lake and Waterway are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 8 at Page 52 , Ahd tn Plat Book No. 9 at Page 145 ,of the Pubiic Records of Dade County, Florida, And it is hereby directed that the material , nature, character and size of said improve- ment be subsequently determined in conformity with one of such descriptions, Which Storm Sewers the City Council declares to be a special benefit to all of the prJperty embraced within the following described district: Besinninp at a point Twenty (20)feet Southerly of the Southerly line of Biscayne Waterway and One Hundred and Twenty-Five (Ipc..0 -.w/ feet Easterly of the Easterly line of Alton Road.; thence SoutheBir*-alon6 a line One Hundr,a0.„411d Twenty-Five (125) feet eN. Easterly of and parallel to the said Easterly line of Alton Road to a point on the center line of North Yichigan Avenue, thence Southerly along the said center line of North Michigan Avenue to a point Four Hundred and Fifty (450) feet Northerly from the Northerly line of Dade Boulevard; thence Westerly along a line Four Hundred and Fifty (450) feet Northerly from and parallel to the said. Northerly line of Dade Boulevard to a point on the center line of Alton Road; thence Northerly along a straight line to a point at the intersection of the center ] ine of North Bey Road and , • • the Westerly line of Lot 20, Block 15-B of ReSubdivision of Lots 16 to 21 Inclusive . flock 15 of the Amended Sunset Lake Sub- division produced Southerly, thence Northerly along the said Westerly line of Lot 20sproduced Southerly,and the said Westerly line to a point Twenty (2 ) feet Southerly of the Northwesterly corner of said Lot 20; thence Northerly along a meandering line Twenty (20) feet irasteW from and parallel to the Westerly line of Block 15-B, of said /Stledivision, end Twenty ( 20) feet Easterly from and: paraitel to the Westerly lines of Blocks 15, 12, and 10 of the Sunset Lake Subdivision, as it is shown on the Amended Plat of the same to a point twenty (20 )feet Southerly of the said Southerly line of Biscayne Waterway, thence Easterly along a meandering line twenty (20) feet Southerly from and parallel to the said Southerly line of Biscayne Waterway to the point of beginning; As said Roads , Avenue, Boulevard, Subdivision, Resubdivision, and Waterway are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 8, kt Page 52, Plat Book No. 9. at Pages 11.114 and 145, and Plat Book ao. .6, at Page 115, of the leublic Records of Dade County, Florida. . The City Enginmer is hereby directed to prepare ,11.d to file with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improvement and an estimate of tne cost of each, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and :the estimated amount to be assessed against each thousand square feet of abutting property. This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as Sewer Improvement $R-127, and the property against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District SR-127.
