SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to equest for Proposals (RFP) No. 2018 -008 -JC, for
Elevator Maintenance, Repairs, Parts and New Equipment
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2018 -008 -JC, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) to
provide the City with various routine maintenance services and repairs to the City's fleet of elevators,
and establish a pool of prequalified elevator contractors for non -routine engagements that may
include (but not be limited to) major refurbishments, modernizations, and installation of new
equipment.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Thursday, December 14, 2017. The
responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee, in accordance with the criteria
established in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Mark Morgan, Facilities Zone Manager, Property Management Division, City of Miami
Beach
• Joey Gan, Chief Elevator Inspector, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Carlos Naumann, Assistant Building Director, Building Department, City of Miami Beach
• Miguel Beingolea, Parking Operations Manager, Parking Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Oniel Toledo, Facilities Zone Manager, Property Management Division, City of Miami
Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
