Together with the construction of concrete or
steel and timber jetties or groynes, and other
necessary construction at the ends of the fol-
lowing streets: Thirty-Second to Thirty-Eighth
Streets, inclusive , Fortieth, Forty-Second and
Forty-Third Streets; also at the Northerly Line
of the said Lots 1 and 4-, of the said Block 39;
also the extension of the existing jetties or
groynes at Twenty-Ninth and Thirtieth Streets,
all as a part of the main improvement;
As said Streets, Avenue, Property, Lots, Blocks
and Ocean are shown on Plats recorded in Plat
Book No . 5, at Pages 7 and 8, of the Public Re-
cords of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Streets are named and designated in Ordinance
No . 232, passed and adopted by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on
January 20th, 1926;
Which said steel or concrete seawall and said
concrete or steel and timber jetties or groynes,
and extensions thereof, with said necessary
fills and dredging, and other necessary con-
struction, the City Council hereby deems to be
a special benefit to all of the following des-
cribed
property,
Lots 1, 2 and3, Block 19, Lots 1, 2, 3 and -

Block 21, Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 23, Lots

and 4, Block 25, Lots 1, 2, 3 and ,
Block 27, Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 29, Lots
2, 3 and 5, Block 39, all of The Miami Beach
Improvement Company 's Ocean Front Subdivision,
according to the Amended Map of the Ocean
Front Property of the Miami Beach Improvement
Company, recorded in Plat Book No. 5, at Pag-
es 7 and 8, and that portion of land described
as follows:
Beginning at a point North Nine degrees Twenty-
four
renty--four minutes East and Five Hundred (500) feet
from a concrete monument which is set at the
Northeast corner of the intersection of Collins
Avenue and Nineteenth Street as shown on the
Map of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami
Beach Improvement Company, as per Plat in Plat
Book No . 2, Page 47, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida; thence South Eighty de-
grees, Thirty-six Minutes East Two Hundred
Seventy-five (275) f eet, mare or less, to the
low water line of the West shore of the Atlan-
tic Ocean; thence Northerly Two Hundred (200)
feet, plus or minus, along the said low water
line of the West shore of the Atlantic Ocean
to a point South Eighty degrees Thirty-six
Minutes East Two Hundred Seventy-five (275)
feet , plus or minus, from a point which is
North Nine degrees Twenty-four Minutes and
East Two Hundred (209) feet from the point of
beginning; thence North Eighty degrees Thirty-
six Minutes West Two Hundred Seventy-five (275)
feet, plus or minus, to said point North Nine
degrees Twenty-four Minutes East and Two Hun--
dred (200) feet from the point of beginning;
thence South Nine degrees Twenty-four Minutes
West Two Hundred (200) feet to point of begin-
ning, containing One and Twenty-six Hundredths
(1.26) acres, more or less;
All of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.

And the total cost of the said steel or con-
crete seawall at the street ends, with the
said necessary fills and dredging, and said
other construction at the said street ends,
and the total cost of the said concrete or
steel and timber jetties or groynes, and the
extensions thereof shall be borne by the
City at large; and the total cost of the said
steel or concrete seawall, with said neces-
sary fills and dredging, abutting on the
above described properties, shall be fully as-
sessed against the said properties.
And it is hereby directed that the material,
nature and character of said improvement be
subsequently determined in conformity with
one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind
of said Improvement and an estimate of the cost of each , in-
cluding an estimate of the cost of the expenses of prelimi-
nary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence
of the work , the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates , the printing and publication of notices and pro-
ceedings ,the preparation of bonds , interest during construc-
tion , legal services , abstracts , etc . , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , as-
sessments and bonds as Waterfront Improvement BP-3 , and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for
the cost thereof shall be designated as District BP-3 .
