RESOLUTION NO. 2300
DISTRICT H04.120 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-120
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNUIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby orderered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter,
H-120 EIGHTH S'T'REET: From the West Line of
Washington Avenue to Easterly Curb of
Pennsylvania Avenue to be paved, and where
heretofore paved, to be repaved, to a width
of Thirty—Nine feet, with a Bituminous Wear-
ing Surface on a 10" Rock Base,with necessary
drainage, sewer inlets, manholes, and catch
basins, and improved on both sides with a
concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenue and Street are shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 81
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, as Said Avenues are named and de—
signated in Ordinance No . 232,
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the its»
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plane
and specification and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other ex—
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-120, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-120,
