Resolution 2452 RESOLUTION NO. 2452
WHEREAS, from a study of the report of the
School Nurse covering the activities of the school
year just closed it is evident that many of the
members of the medical profession have given free-
ly and unstintingly of their time in the promotion
of health among the school children, and,
WHEREAS, through the activities of the mem-
bers of the various branches of the medical profes-
sion our schools have come to be recognized as of
the very best from the standpoint of health, and,
WHEREAS, as the result of the activities of
these men many physical defects among the school
children have been discovered and corrected, there-
by promoting a higher type of citizenship among the
children,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH That those who
have so ably and unselfishly assisted in the promo-
tion and the development of health work in the
schools be given an unqualified vote of apprecia-
tion of the City Council and through them of the
citizens of Miami Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this
resolution be sent to the City Health Officer,
Dr. C. F. Roche, and the Staff of the St. Francis
Hospital, who have all assisted in the work.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June,
