Resolution 2591 RESOLUTION NO. 2591
WHEREAS, proposals have been submitted to the City
Council of Miami Beach from time to time suggesting various
means of affecting economies in the cost of City Government
and of otherwise relieving the burden of our taxpayers, and
WHEREAS, it is imperative in order to maintain the
financial integrity of the City at its present high standard
that every possible effort be expended and every available
means be employed to affect economy and sound business prac-
tice,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager
be authorized and instructed to make a complete study of
the different plans that have been suggested and such other
plans as shall seem feasible and to formulate a comprehen-
1 sive fiscal program and to report back to the City Council
for consideration at the earliest possible date; and BE IT
FURTHER RESOLVED that a vote of confidence be given to the
City Manager with full assurance of the cooperation of the
City Council.
