Resolution 2670 Dade County Project Number Miami Beach Political Subdivision FLORIDA EMERGENCY RELIEF COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 2670 RESOLUTION SHOWING THE NECESSITY FOR FEDERAL FUNDS FOR RELIEF WORK PROJECTS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, the County of Dade, State of Florida, that the Relief Work proposed by the Dade County Emergency Relief Council by its Proposal for Work Project No. , being a project for beautification of: 71st Street and South Everglades Concourse from Atlantic Ocean to Biscayne Bay (East end of 79th Street Causeway) , Collins Avenue from North City Limits to 63rd Street, and some other streets North of Collins Canal. The work will consist of grading, grassing, tree and shrub plant- ing and replanting in parkways, approximately a total of 350 trees and 45O shrubs to be used, is a Public Project for the benefit of the General Public, and not for the benefit of any private interest, that the project embraces work that needs to be done for the general good of the Community, that there are no City funds available nor any way in which local funds may be made available with which to do this work and that unless Federal Relief Funds are used for this purpose, the said work cannot be done at this time, nor at any time within the near future; that any cost and expense in connec- tion with this project other than for actual labor will be borne from City funds; that any liability which may arise by reasons of damage to persons or property in the prosecu- tion of this work will be the liability of the City of Miami Beach and in no way attributable to the Emergency Relief Council.
