RESOLUTION NO. 3)85
DISTRICT H-126 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-126
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-126 THE ALLEY BETWEEN LINCOLN ROAD AND SIXTEENTH STREET.
From the Eest line of the Alley East of Alton Road
to a point nine and one-half(9*) feet East of the West
line of Leuox Avenue; from a point nine and one-half (94)
feet West of the East line of Lenox Avenue to a point
nine and one-half (94) feet East of the West line of
Michigan Avenue; from a point nine and one-half (94)
feet West of the East line of said Michigan Avenue to
a point approximately twenty-five (25) feet East of the
West line of Jefferson Avenue; from a point approximately
twenty-five (25) feet West of the East line of said
Jefferson Avenue to a point nine and one-half (94) feet
East of the West line of Meridian Avenue, to be paved,
and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of
twenty (20) feet, with a bituminous wearing surface on an
eight (8) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes,
and catch basins.
As said Alleys, Roads, Avenues and Street are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 5, and in Plat Book
9, Page 69, of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida.
I Tile City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and Other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro•
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-126, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-126.
