Resolution 3295 RESOLUTION NO. 3295 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, MAKING A TAX LEVY FOR THE TAX YEAR 1935, AND FIXING- THE MILLAGE ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN SAID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That there be , and' the same is 'hereby yllevied, a tax for the year, A. D. 1935, on real and personal property located within the corporate limits of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as follows: (A) For the purpose of carrying on the Government or Administration and Finance Department of said City and to provide funds for the support and maintenance of the different City depa2tments, as follows: Fire ; Police; Beach Patrol; Engineering; Street and Bridges; Sewer; Parks and Docks; Water; Building Inspection; Maintenance Public Buildings; Health; Sanitary; Playgrounds; Public Library; Golf Course; Lighting City; Publicity; Miscellaneous; and for a reserve for tax discounts and abatements and for un- collected taxes; Eighteen and Forty-seven Hundred ths (18.47) of all mills on the dollar of the taxable cashvaluesaid property in said City, with the exception of such properties as have been allowed a Homestead Exemption, pursuant to the provisions of an Act known as "Senate Bill #123" , adopted by the State Legislature in 1935. (B) For the purpose of paying principal and interest due on all outstanding bonds and notes of said Citynashavding been or Will be issued during the fiscal yea. Octo- ber 31st, 1936, and for a reserve for tax discounts and abate- ments and for uncollectedeo ofthetaxablecash value ofall teSix Fifty-three ndthE (6. 53) mills on th property in said City. SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be de- livered to the following officers of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, namely: City Tax Assessor , City Manager, Finance Committeeman and City Auditor.
