WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, upon its own initiative will consider the amending,
supplementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the
regulations, restrictions, and/or boundaries . .�grpx�,��' ed in
Ordinance N . 289, commony known as the Zoni ',•,_`o-"9 'ni Beach,
Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
That Item (1) c under the title, "General Provisions, of
Ordinance No. 289, be amended to read as follows:
"c. No dock, wharf, dolphins or structures of any kind
shall be erected, constructed or reconstructed so
as to extend into Biscayne Bay a distance greater
than twenty-five (25) feet, or so as to extend
into Indian Creek a distance greater than fifteen
(15) feet or so as to extend into Collins Canal a
distance greater than three (3) feet, or so as to
extend into any other waterway in the City of
Miami Beach, a distance (5) feet;
greater than five
except that with special permission of the City
Council, docks, wharves, dolphins or similar structures
may extend from a business or multiple-family lot
into Biscayne Bay a distance not greater than
one hundred (100) feet. No part of any such dock,
wharf, dolphins or structures shall be higher than
two (2) feet above the top of the adjoining seawall
or the established grade for the seawall if none
exists. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that aublic he

A. M . , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose as above set forth,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place
