May 23.-Offl- clals of the Hollywood golf com- mission, managing Orange Brook municipal course, will henceforth be appointed for terms of two years instead of the customary one year, as result of a plea made by Floyd Wray before Hollywood city commission yesterday. Wray, a member of the golf commission, said the extended term will permit long-distance planning of improvements to the course. He declared the Orange Brook course by superiority has attracted a patronage which pro- duced a greater profit than cours- es in adjoining cities, and that it is the purpose of the golf commis -i Funeral Services For Beach Pioneer Sched- uled In New Jersey Funeral services for Irving A. Collins, Miami Beach pioneer de- veloper and businessman, who died suddenly yesterday from a heart ailment while on a month's vaca- tion to his northern home at Moorestown, N. J, will be held at 2 p.. m. tomorrow at Moorestown. Burial also will be at Moores- town. Thomas J. Pancoast, presi- dent of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Mrs. Pancoast, sister of Collins, left Miami last night by train for Moorestown to be present for the funeral services. Collins had ben expected to be back in Miami in June to attend a session of the Dade county bud- get committee, of which he was a member. He left on the vacation trip -May 13. Although not serious- ly ilk, he recently had complained of not feeling well. A resident of Miami Beach for the last 20 years, COIMns was the son of John S. Collins, many times referred to as "the father of Miami Beach," and Rachel A. Collins, and was closely associated with his late father and Pancoast In the early development of Miami Beach. He was born 1n Moorestown Sept. 29, 1872.
