Resolution 73-14183 RESOLUTION NO. 73-14183
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that a comprehensive housing study for the City
of Miami Beach is necessary in the area extending from Govern-
ment Cut on the South side to Dade Boulevard on the North; and
the Atlantic Ocean on the East to Biscayne Bay on the West,
Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS , it is necessary to employ a contractor in
connection with the planning of a Housing Project to assist
the Planning Agency of the City through the Miami Beach Planning
Department; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of
Miami Beach and its inhabitants to employ the firm of ALBERT
ROSEN ASSOCIATES , a Florida corporation, for a fee not to exceed
$27, 500 . 00 for basic contractural services as described in the
proposed agreement, and for Contractor' s additional services as
also set forth in said proposed agreement; and
WHEREAS , an agreement has been prepared between the
City of Miami Beach and ALBERT ROSEN ASSOCIATES , a Florida
corporation, with compensation as stated above; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
is familiar with the provisions of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the said agreement in the name of and on behalf of the said City,
and the disbursing officers of the City are hereby authorized and
directed to disburse the monies required by the terms of said
agreement from funds of the City available for such purpose.
