DESKTOP ICON TO ASSIST CITY PERSONNEL IN IDENTIFYING
PROJECTS BOUND BY THE CONE OF SILENCE REQUIREMENTS
In an effort to disseminate information.to elected officials and City staff on bids covered by the
requirements of the Cone of Silence, a desktop icon has been created. The icon is entitled CMB
Bids, and lists all solicitations (i.e. Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, and Request for
Qualifications) that are subject to the City's Cone of Silence requirements.
The following are steps to follow in order to view all projects that are subject to the City's Cone of
Silence requirements:
1. Double click on the following icon which appears on your desktop:
CMB Bids. Ink
2. In the "choose one" box below, point to and click~ arrow, select the word
"Active" and then click on search.
View bids that are' J (Choose One)
All projects that have been advertised and issued, but not yet opened, will appear.
3. After viewing all projects listed as "Active", you must then view all projects which
bids/proposals have been received and are pending City Commission action. To do so,
you must change your option from "Active" to "Open/Under Evaluation" and click on
search.

Please note that Bids, RFPs, and RFQs are being issued on a daily basis. Therefore, it is
recommended that you or your staff view the list of projects on a regular basis. Should y6a ha~e anY,
