AMENDMENT NO.1 ~
TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AND THE CORRADINO GROUP, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE RIGHT OF WAY
INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM NEIGHBORHOOD 2- NORTH SHORE
PURSUANT TO REQUEST FOR QUALIFICAnONS (RFQ 10- 00101).
This Amendment No.1, dated as of IYl QA t:t 2002, to that certain Agreement. dated
October 17,2001, captioned, _~ment Between the CIty of Miami Beach,
Florida and The Corradino Group,tnc.lncfol' P\ *ssional Landscape Ard1it8dUI8I and Engineering
ServiceS for the Right of Way Intrastructure Improvements Program NeighbOrhood 2 - North Shore",
by and between the City of Miami Beach, Florida (CITY), and The Corradino Group, Inc.
(CONSULTANT) for Additional ServiceS associ8ted with procuring a topographic survey of the
streets on PariMeW Island, at a cost of $9,150; and to procure traffic counts at additional
intersections required by FOOT for the Collins I Harding Avenue traffic study, at a cost of $3,975.
[tECITALS
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for procuring a topographic survey of the sn,ts on Par1Mew
Island; and to procure traffic counts at additional intersections required by FOOT for the
CoIlinslHarding Avenue traffic study; and
WHEREAS, the planning effort for the North Shore neighbOrhood has been initiated; and
WHEREAS, additional professional landscape architectural and engineering'services for procuring a
topographic sUIVSY of the streets on PartMew Island; and to procure traffic counts at additional
intersections required by FOOT for the Collins I Harding Avenue traffic study are required to
complement the planning effort for the entire neighborhood. '
1. ABOVE RECITALS
The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated as a part of this Fnt Amendment

2. MODIFICATIONS
The Agreement is amended as follows:
2.1. Schedule -A- entitled, .Scope of AlE Consultant Services-, is amended as follows:
2.1.1 DELETE Task 5.1 entitled -Data Collection- in its entirety and REPLACE with the following:

CONSULTANT shall collect existing background data (i.e. existing City, County and I or State
traffic studies) needed to perfonn the proper analysis and provide adequate descriptions of
existing conditions along Harding Avenue and Collins Avenue between 71- Street and 87th
Street:

CONSULTANT shall collect additional six hour traftlc movement countS~ along Harding and
Collins Avenues. Locations where traffic movement counts will be established by the
CONSULTANT include 76", .,.,... 79", SO.., 83"', 84", 86" and 87" Streets. CONSULTANT'S
level of effort also includes traffic counts at the signalized intersections of Abbott Avenue at 71.
and 7zwt Streets. A total of 18 trafIlc counts are anticipated in the CONSULTANT'S level of
effort. '

CONSULTANT shall arrange for and coordinate the efforts of licenSed surveyors to prepare a
detailed topographical survey meeting the intent of Task 2.1 for approximately 3,100 linear feet
of right of way streets within the Parkview Island neighborhood:

CONSULTANT shall collect six hour traffic movement counts along the ~nalized intersectionS
of Harding and eonins Avenue at 71-, 7-rt, 73"', 74", 75", 8111 and 85 Streets for a total of
fourteen traffic movement counts. CONSULTANT shall also provide traffic counts of two non-
signalized intersections, along Harding and Collins Avenues at 78" and 82nd Streets for a total
of four traffic counts.
