A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
STIPULATION AND AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL IN
CONNECTION WITH CITY 'S APPLICATION FOR
REVISION OF TEMPORARY OPERATION PERMIT
#TP 13-2577 UNDER THE "GOOD-FAITH"
AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS , the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and the STATE OF FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL desire to enter into a stipulation
and agreement regarding the CITY'S application for revision of
Temporary Operation Permit #TP 13-2577 under the "Good-Faith" Amend-
ment; and
WHEREAS , in consideration of and pursuant to the applica-
tion by the CITY for the revision of its Temporary Operation Permit
#TP 13-2577, pursuant to Section 17-4. 25, Florida Administrative
Code, commonly known as the "Good-Faith" Amendment, an appropriate
Stipulation and Agreement has been prepared and has been approved
as to form by the City Attorney, the terms and conditions of which
are set forth in the said Stipulation and Agreement and with which
the City Council is familiar ; and
WHEREAS , the Board of the Department of Pollution Control
approved the Stipulation and. Agreement at its meeting of July 23 ,
1974, and directed the executive director of the Department of Pol-
lution Control to execute said Stipulation and Agreement, and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach deems
it to be in the best interest of the City and its residents to enter
into said Stipulation and Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized anddirected to execute
and deliver the said Stipulation and Agreement for and in the name
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida .
