A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PREPARE AND SOLICIT A REQUEST FOR
PROPOSAL FOR THE LEASING OF PRO-SHOP, GOLF CLUB STORAGE, DRIVING
RANGE, AND LOCKER ROOM CONCESSION RIGHTS AT THE NORMANDY SHORES
GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, Bids were advertised and received on May 21 , 1982, for golf,
food and beverage concession at the Normandy Shores and Bayshore Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, after evaluation of the bids received in BID 61-82 the City
Manager recommended that all bids received be rejected and that the City Administra-
tion be authorized to operate the municipal golf courses during the period of time
that Touche Ross and Company produced an analysis of the operations ; and
WHEREAS, Touche Ross and Company have now concluded their review of
the operations of the municipal golf courses and have made recommendations with
regards to the areas previously operated by a concessionaire; ani
WHEREAS, the consultant has recommended and identified concession
operations which should be bid:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to prepare and
solicit a request for proposals for the leasing of pro-shop, golf club storage,
driving range, and locker room concession rights at the Normandy Shores Golf Course.
