Resolution 3950 RESOLUTION NO, 3950 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we hereby approve and endorse the proposed Act which is entitled as follows: "AN ACT AFFECTING THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, AND EXEMPTING THE CTTY OF MIAMI BEACH FROM THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 17401, ACTS OF 1935, LAWS OF FLORIDA, ENTITLED "AN ACT PRO.. VIDING THAT TAXES LEVIED BY ANY COUNTY, DISTRICT OR MUNICIPALITY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST AND FOR A SINKING FUND ON BONDS OR FOR THE PAYMENT OF ANY OTHER PAST DUE OBLIGATION OF SUCH COUNTY, DISTRICT OR MUNICIPAL- ITY MAY BE PAID IN SAID BONDS, THE PAST DUE INTER- EST COUPONS OF SAID BONDS OR THE SAID OTHER PAST DUE OBLIGATIONS AT PAR WHICH THE SAID TAXES HAVE BEEN, MAY OR SHALL BE LEVIED TO PAY, AND PROVID- ING FOR THE TAX COLLECTORS OR OTHER OFFICERS RE- CEIVING SUCH BONDS, INTEREST COUPONS AND/OR OTHER OBLIGATIONS TO HAVE PROPER CREDIT THEREFOR";° BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of said proposed Act, together with a certified copy of this Resolution, be sent to each of the following: Senator Ernest R. Graham, Representa- tives George E. Holt, Ernest Overstreet and John J. Lindsey, and that they each be respectfully requested to see that a Bill, substantially in accordance with the said copy, be introduced and passed during the 1937 session of the Florida State Legis- lature, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of March, A.
