Resolution 4043 RESOLUTION NO. 4043
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, upon its own initiative will consider the amending,
supplementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the
regulations, restrictions, and/or boundaries as provided in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of
Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
That the Use and area regulations of the following des-
cribed property, to-wit:
LA GORCE ISLAND - within the
corporate limits of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, as
per plat recorded in Plat Book
34 at Page 83, Public Records
of Dade County, Florida,
be amended, changed and modified so as to change Blocks 1
and 11 of said La Gorce Island from their present use
regulation "RD" Single Family District, to what is known
as "RB" Estate District classification, and
so as to change Block 10 of said La Gorce Island from its
present use regulation "RD" Single Family District, to what
is known as "RC" Estate District classification, and
so as to change Block 10 of said La Gorce Island from its
present area regulation District No. 7 to what is known as
Area Regulation District No. 22,
and so as to change Block 1 of said La Gorce Island from its
present area regulation District No. 7 to what is known as
Area Regulation District No. 35,
and so as to change Block 11 of said La Gorce Island from
its present area regulation Distrct No. 7 to what is known
as Area Regulation District No. 34,
as said Use and Area Regulation Districts are described in
Ordinance No. 289, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be
called for the 21st day of July, A. D. , 1937, at 10:00 o' clock
A. M. , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose as above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place and
object of such hearing be published as is provided by said Ord-
inance No. 28.9.
