HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLOR IDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter: :
H-202 THE ALLEY BETWE1-1N MICHIGAN AVENUE AND LENOX AVENUE:
From Fourth (4th) Street to Sixth (6th) Street,
to be paved, and where heretofore paved, to be
repaved to a width of twenty (20) feet with a bi-
tmminous wearing surface on an eight (8) inch rock
base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins.
As said Alley, Streets and Avenues are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Two (2) at Page
Eighty-One (81) , in Plat Book Six (6) , Page Eighty-three
(83) , of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida,
and as said Avenues are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232.
The Cita Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimateof the cost
of the preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superin-
tendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceed-
ings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal
services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conductin&; the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This' Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-202, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-202.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 24th DAY OF August.D.1938.
